House Points

The house system is an integral part of life at Manor Leas Infant School and aims to provide a sense of competition and fun through a range of school based activities. All pupils are attached to one of four houses which are named after castles in the local area.

Children are allocated to one of our four houses - Bolsover (blue), Lincoln (green), Newark (yellow) and Tattershall (red).

House events run throughout the year with points being awarded for each event. Children can also earn points throughout the school day for working hard and displaying good behaviour.

House point totals are announced at assemblies and are then converted into points. The winning team gains 4 points, the second highest 3 points, the next 2 points and the fourth team gains one point.
