ICT Club - EYFS
We have been learning lots of new skills in ICT Club, one of these skills being how to use a digital camera. We have been learning about night time in our class so we decided to go on a twilight adventure to take some photographs. These would look lovely in the Countryfile Calendar!
The staff joined the children on hibernation day on Friday and came to school in their pjs! A great day was had by all and it was good to see how the children enjoyed listening to and sharing stories.
Mrs Botham set a real challenge this week when she asked the members of Garden School Club to build a bridge between two benches entirely out of newspaper and masking tape. It might have been easier if it wasn't so windy but the three teams all tried really hard and one of the teams was successful in completing the challenge!
Garden School Club members got up close and personal with the trees in the garden area. We thought about how our trees might look if they had a face and then we gave them one! Great fun was had by all!
In Garden School Club we made Boggarts from clay, sticks and other things we found in the garden area. Some of us also built homes for our Boggarts to live in.
In Science Club, we have been learning all about shadows. We explored the different shapes we could make with our hands and we made shadow puppets. We even did our own shadow puppet theatre show!
We have been making fake snow in Science club. Who knew cornflour and conditioner could be so messy? Oops!
In Science club, we have been experimenting with colour. We enjoyed watching the skittles make patterns when mixed with water!
